Who is responsible

SanSel Rental (Agnethe and Tormod Seljenes) is responsible for the data processed on sansel.no and en.sansel.no. You can reach us at sansel.rental@gmail.com or by phone on +47 959 94 618.

The contact form

The form sends your name, email, phone (if you fill it in) and your message to us through the Web3Forms service, which forwards it as an email. We only use the information to reply to you, and delete it when it is no longer needed for the booking or our accounts.

The newsletter

If you sign up, we store your first name, email and language with Brevo, which sends the newsletter for us. You can unsubscribe with the link at the bottom of every email.

Chat

The chat on the site is provided by tawk.to. It loads after a few seconds, or as soon as you start using the page. Once loaded, tawk.to stores cookies in your browser so it can recognise you and show the conversation if you come back. If you write in the chat, the conversation is stored by tawk.to so we can reply to you.

Videos

Some pages show YouTube videos. The preview image is loaded from YouTube (Google) when the page is shown, so Google sees your IP address. The video itself only loads when you click it, and then from youtube-nocookie.com.

Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted by Netlify. Like every web server, Netlify records technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and the pages requested, for operation and security.

Cookies and tracking

The website itself sets no cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or any other tool that tracks you, and no advertising. Links to WhatsApp, Google Maps and Google Drive send nothing until you click them.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you – just get in touch. If you think we process data in breach of the rules, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet (opens in new tab).
